Back from my first ballroom dancing national competition at the United States Dance Championship (USDC) It's truly captivating to be on the dance floor among thousands of competitors, all driven by passion and skill. The experience is about expression, syncing with the music's rhythm and mood, and delving into a part of ourselves rarely accessed. In that space, external opinions fade, leaving room for vulnerability and pure strength, defying norms in unique ways.
