De-Beliefing?

What are those negative one-liners that you live by? What would happen if you discard them in favor of a positive one-liner? Can this support you to move forward instead of holding you back?

De-Beliefing is the process that Rick Thompson presents in his book, The Quantum Mindset in a Nutshell. I have enjoyed the simplicity of this approach as it easily allows me to identify those speed bumps that are derailing me. It is a way to reprogram ourselves for what we want to see in our life. The more we say positive things to ourselves, the stronger the statements become in our reality.

We have the power to talk to ourselves and tell our subconscious mind what we choose to believe!

Here are a few examples, have you said this before?

· I don’t have time
· It’s not fair
· It’s too hard
· I can’t do anything about it
· I’m too old now
· The cards are stacked against me… and many more

All these negative attitudes are one-liners because we adopted them when we were learning to talk. They are deeply ingrained in us. If you pay attention to them, you probably can hear your parents and grandparents using them too…

So to reverse them we need to use one-liners or one word too…This is clearing our mind of old inherited fear-based reactions to life. It is about breaking the fear-based belief chain, so that we become free to leap forward… Then, let’s try the positive one-liners for the examples above:

· I have time for everything
· It is all good
· I always find a way
· I am wiser and ready
· Life finds ways to guide me

Those negative one-liners that are so common in our vocabulary and the lack of forgiveness holds us back in life. Being intentional, learning to reverse them into positive ones, forgive and practice them regularly will enable us to flow in life.

It is that easy, try it!!! Write them down and practice… A small shift with a great reward.

Thank you Rick for sharing your book at the last UNBLINDED event; looking forward to start reading part 2 now!!
