Desire, Expectation & Belief

A reflection from Abraham Hicks that has helped me to become more aware and to create the life I enjoy today:

- When we Desire, it may not be what we believe.

- When we Expect we include what we believe.

- Expectation is stronger on belief than a Desire.

- Desires are a strong energy that reflect our deepest wants.

- Beliefs are strong because they are the result of our habitual thoughts of our life experience. (The story we tell ourselves)

- When we blend of Desire and Belief (that enable what we want) is when we are most powerful

I have learnt to be more aware of my beliefs so that I can identify if they are serving me to progress in the direction I would like (desire). Many of us use Desire, Expectation and Belief often interchangeably without realizing the impact that they have on us.

Our beliefs and expectations create our identity. All of us will do anything to reflect that identity that we hold for ourselves; even if that neglects those deep desires that will make all the difference in our life.

What would happen if we train ourselves to consciously choose enabling beliefs that allow our desires to come true?

What would you keep and change today in your professional and personal life?
