Life Role Models
My weekend trip to Austin was more than ballroom dancing; it allowed me to reconnect with two extraordinary women, Linda Ford and Ginny Gen. These two inspiring ladies have been my role models since I moved to the US 14 years ago. Linda and Ginny, inseparable friends, are now enjoying retirement after a successful career in ExxonMobil HR. Reconnecting with them reminded me of the importance of fun, care, doing the right thing, and nurturing a supportive community. They exemplify living a purposeful and fulfilling life, personally and professionally.
Despite being in retirement for a decade, Linda and Ginny remain dedicated to their families, grand kids, and leading impactful missions to help women and other retirees. Their unwavering passion for helping others and zest for life are truly admirable. I aspire to follow in their footsteps as I continue to grow. Wherever they go, they leave a legacy and touch hearts, showcasing the power of friendship and women leaders who genuinely care for others.
I am forever grateful to Linda and Ginny for helping me become the person I am today. Their care and support during my transition into the US work life and their demonstration of living with purpose and intention have left a lasting impact. They embody the essence of true friendship and serve as a testament to how caring women leaders can contribute to building a better world for all.
Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.
