My brother’s birthday!

August 19, my brother’s birthday!

Smart, thoughtful, clever, caring, resourceful, practical, disciplined, loving, fun, unconditional are a few of the characteristics that distinguish my brother. I have been blessed to have him in my life. He has been that voice of reason that through his calmness and with logic helps me to sort out alternatives and come up to a decision on those key moments in life.

We are one year apart and that helped for us to grow up together. I have had the pleasure of seeing him excel as a son, father, husband, professional, friend and brother through his huge heart, generosity, care and presence. He has been there for me, our family, his friends, coworkers and loved ones. He is an extraordinary human being with deep care and presence. He has made sure to create wonderful memorable experiences for those he loves. In my case, always extending his support and words of wisdom. A few examples of that are my move to the US, helping me from a distance when I would get lost driving, help me recover from surgery, move forward with my projects, help me think through decisions, traveling, etc. He is my best friend, the one that I can reach out to unconditionally.

We share a great relationship as siblings, which I treasure. It fills my heart to know he is around despite the distance.
