Nature Teaches Us

Nature offers us great examples of leadership and teamwork, and geese are a prime example of this. These birds fly together in a V formation, knowing that they can improve their ability to fly by 71% than if they were to fly alone. They understand the power of going together in the same direction and motivating each other along the way.

When the lead geese get tired, they change position to fly in the back, and another bird takes its place to keep the flock progressing. The geese on the back even produce a noise to motivate the ones in the front to keep their speed.

What if our leadership focus went beyond just teaching people how to be good at their jobs? What if we also focused on looking after each other and the power of teamwork, just like the geese flying on a V?
