Intentional Change

Change is always happening to us.

Have you stopped to think how it actually happens? Sometimes is all of a sudden and other times is the result of the accumulation of the small decisions and actions during a period of time.

Funny enough change happens regardless of action or inaction, with a decision or no decision, consciously or unconsciously. Whatever we engage on a daily basis is what drives that. From gaining to losing weight, the level of happiness, progress on our studies or work, building or not our relationships and many more.

We have more influence on the change in our life than what we may think. Becoming aware of what we want and its importance is what I call Intentional Change. That is how we can empower ourselves to create the reality we want. Lately I have made a list of all the regular activities I engage in a month to identify those that hold me back and the ones that move me forward and energizes me. That has given me line of sight to my alignment with my objectives and plans.

Busyness often can overtake our days and weeks, making us lose perspective and focus. So it is not enough just knowing what we do, planning and scheduling in more detail our days is something I am experimenting with now… from my hours of sleep to what I do throughout the day. I often laughed at people that scheduled everything… I for sure have been more diligent at scheduling work activities and a bit more relaxed with my personal side. Now I have identified the need and value to start the week and/or month with a clear plan. It relaxes me to have a full view of my scheduled activities. Identifying free time and making sure that I am more involved to engage activities that move me forward. This is an easy way to help me focus, determine what I am intentionally changing in my life and drive the experiences I will face with more ease.

I will continue to share how I am managing change in my life. Share in the comments what do you do to track and/or propel your Intentional Change. I would love to hear and learn from you!
