Beautiful scenery embedded on the hills full of grape vines and varied olives / fruits trees. A peaceful and energizing environment. These lands tell their people’s story.
Proud family wineries share their legacy of generations working the land and their innovations to master their signature and new wines and olive oils. Like Alessandra, our host at Montefioralle, shared that new wines are like unborn babies. They are experimenting with ceramic barrels to age a new type of wine. Its characteristics are still to be determined… However early connoisseur reviews of samples show that it may be a great beginning of a new wine.
I enjoyed taking pictures of these amazing places. A mix between nature and historic structures. It is like being in a movie scene. I would love to spend time experiencing the local life at a vineyard. Go through the cycle of harvesting the grapes, processing the wine up to the bottling and storing. Learning about the flavors that the wood barrels’ imprint into the wine and the technique to create those interesting flavors.
Vision, leadership and passion create this beautiful environment, experiences, wines and olive oil. The dream of a grandfather carried over generations.
